In December you can plant pot bulbs to add colour and fragrance to your outside spaces. At Brick Kiln Garden Centre we stock a wide variety of bulbs and have just taken delivery of our popular pot-grown varieties.

Why Choose Pot Bulbs?

1) Perfect for Small Spaces

Not everyone has a large garden and that’s ok. Bulbs thrive beautifully in containers, making them ideal for patios, balconies and even windowsills.

2) Guaranteed Colour When You Want It

With the right selection you can enjoy flowers from early spring through to autumn. Bulbs are nature’s built-in timer – plant them once and they know exactly when to perform.

3) Low Maintenance – High Reward

Bulbs are famously undemanding. Give them good compost, drainage and a spot they like and they’ll do the rest.


Looking After Your Pot Bulbs
        •       Water in dry periods, especially if your pots are under cover.
        •       Feed lightly once shoots appear – a slow-release fertiliser works well.
        •       Deadhead spent flowers to keep pots looking tidy.

Hyacinths

Their strong scent makes them a lovely fit for doorsteps and windowsills, offering a burst of colour early in the year.

Bluebells

Create a woodland feel even in the smallest spaces with bluebells. These delicate nodding flowers thrive in partial shade and naturalise beautifully year after year.

Snowdrops

One of the very first signs of spring, snowdrops push through the cold to offer pure white, bell-shaped blooms.

Narcissus

Cheerful, bright and wonderfully reliable, Narcissus (daffodils) bring a fresh burst of yellow each spring. They’re tough, easy to grow and perfect for containers.

Very good size garden centre that will have everything you could possibly need. There is a massive stock of plants and tree's aswell as a large stock of pots with great designs. Inside the garden centre has loads of indoor plants, seeds and tools. There is also a cafe which I was unable to visit but its nice to have the option to have some food and warm drink. The car park is a great size.

We received a voucher in the post for a buy one get one free Cream Tea and decided to use the voucher today. What a lovely cream tea we had with warmed scones, clotted cream, jam and tea 0f our choice in a nice clean atmosphere.. keep up the good work.. we'll be back again soon
